DriveBridge Privacy Policy
Summary
DriveBridge does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share your personal data. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. Everything you set up stays on your phone.
What stays on your phone
- Your shortcuts and settings (names, website addresses, chosen apps, favorites, theme, layout preferences) are saved only in the app's private storage on your device.
- Your list of installed apps is read on your device (Android only) so you can pick an app for a shortcut and open it. This list is never sent anywhere.
- Your Radio & TV list (the stations and channels you add, your favorites and what you played recently) is saved only in the app's private storage on your device.
- Backups you make with "Back up shortcuts" are copied to your device's clipboard. Where you paste them is up to you.
Uninstalling DriveBridge, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes all of this.
When DriveBridge uses the internet
- The built-in browser opens only secure (HTTPS) websites that you choose. Those websites receive the same information any browser sends (such as your IP address and browser details) and their own privacy policies apply. DriveBridge does not see, record or share what you do on them.
- Website icons: for website shortcuts, DriveBridge downloads the site's own icon directly from that website, once, and keeps it on your phone. No third-party icon service is used.
- Links to other apps (for example non-secure or email links) are handed to the app on your phone that you choose.
- Radio & TV: the lists you add, the streams you play and the stations' logos are downloaded directly from the addresses in those lists, for example public lists from iptv-org on GitHub and Radio Browser (radio-browser.info), or a link you enter. Those servers receive your IP address and the app's name, as any player would, and their own privacy policies apply. Some streams use plain (non-secure) http. DriveBridge doesn't host, check or record any of them.
- Android Auto: when your phone is connected to a car, Android Auto shows your Radio & TV list and what is playing on the car screen. DriveBridge doesn't send this anywhere else.
Children
DriveBridge is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
Driving safety
Do not watch video or browse on a screen the driver can see while the vehicle is moving.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new effective date.
